It has been a whole year and yet for some reason I cannot believe that you now live in heaven. You are truly missed by many . We will always hold a special place in our hearts for you and keep those loving memories of you close. We are fortunate that God shared you with us for 27 years. We will hold on to the memories of you through your son Little Derrick. You and Derrick was fortunate to have been blessed with your son. We will always cherish your memories and so will your husband and Derrick and your son Little Derrick.

Reminiscing about the days in Upward Bound and in Elementary school to middle and High school.. I just cant help but smile from all of the great memories that we had!! Kupkake...You will always have a special place in my heart. I remember all of the rides on the church van..singing until we fell asleep on those long rides home back to Macon. I remember all of the times you and Shawanna had to come over to our house in Crystal Lake for Praise Team rehearsals and Dance team rehearsals(where we discovered I was pregnant during my first time dancing with you all-too funny).I will never forget the little notes you would send me complimenting me and encouraging me all at the same time when I needed it most. These are the things that I will cherish and think on whenever I find myself sad or questioning God as to why he would take such a caring, sweet person away from me. I know that you are in a better place and I believe that the fight you gave thru your illness was so someone else could trust and believe God as much as you did. To my family--Kupkake is where she wanted to be. She fought a good fight and we all need to just pray for strength thru this time. Just be thankful that God allowed us to have her for as long as we did and remember how she touched each and everyone of our lives in some way. Love you Kupkake!

To Ms. Shirley Ann, Shawana, and the entire Fountain family my sincere condolences are with you. Kupcake was a very beautiful person every since she was a young girl. Ms. Shirley Ann you brought her up with the knowledge of loving others and most importantly loving God. I know that you all are a very close family anyway but get closer now and it's time we all get closer to God. Reese "my baby" you stay strong because I remember it being Reese and Cupcake wanting to go to church wanting to sing in the choir wanting to do anything for the glory of God. Reese Cupcake has song her last song here on earth but now she is where she can sing praises all day long at the right hand of the Father. Knowing how KupCake was all that she would want now is for her family to make it where she has made it and have the faith that this young girl had. Kup Cake suffered a great deal but she never lost her faith in God because when you saw her she still wore a smile. Know that I love you all and I am praying with you and for you to get through this. Love one another and be there for each other. After a few days the crowd may fade away, the friends may go on with their day, but your pain will endure forever. When those times come lean on God and be there for each other. Remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. There will be no more pain and suffering for KupCake. I met Kupkake through a mutual friend a few years ago and we connected instantly. She told me of her struggles with her illness and the entire time she kept a smile on her face. Her spirit was nothing I had ever encountered before. She was radiant and her spirit and personality made it a pleasure to be in her company. I was so sad to hear of her passing but I know that God has another assignment for her. She was a angel on earth so I know she has just been promoted to receive her wings. I rejoice in the fact that I was blessed to have known her and to say that we were friends. Cry if you must but rejoice in knowing that you will see her again on the other side.

I want to say that as an aunt to Kupkake my heart is so heavy because of her untimely death. I know that we are all hurting and grieving right now but there will be better days ahead for all of us. Kupkake touched a lot of people's lives. She had a sweet spirit and loved everyone. She was a caring person and she never let her illness get her down. She will be missed terribly by everybody who she was connected to. Even tough she is gone to heaven to be with the Father; i am sure that this is something that she would have said to the family :
To my dearesst family, some things I 'd like to say...but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy , just because I am out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon, and night.
That day I had to leave you(10/21/07) when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, I welcome you."
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving 27 years because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish I could tell you what all God has planned.
But if I tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever were before.
There are manu rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb, but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.It was always my philosophy and I's like it for you too...that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night..."My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented..that my life has been worthwhile, knowing as I passed aloong the way, I made somebody smile.
