Cecil Wayne Bedgood, 66, of Macon, GA passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Wayne was a wonderful, loving, devoted husband, father and friend. Wayne filled many roles in his lifetime, made a lasting positive impact on everyone who knew him, and our lives will never be the same without him.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Kristy Bedgood; his son, Brandon Bedgood; his former wife of 28 years and good friend, Sheryl Nipper; a sister, Elaine Gay of Hawkinsville; sister, Patsy Peacock of Gray; and sister, Annette Payne of Moultrie; four grandchildren; Seth Bedgood of Forsyth; Carson Kelley of Kathleen; Jacobi Bedgood of Lizella; and Bryton Taylor of Forsyth. The family can be contacted at 2866 Leone Drive North in Macon, GA.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Wayne at a later date to be announced.

I've known Wayne since I was 8 years old, however, during the past 4 years, Wayne had become like a father to me and I loved him as if he were my own father. I have never met anyone like Wayne, he was one of a kind, and I'm sure I never will meet anyone else who will touch my life and help me in so many ways that he did, and with no hesitation and no questions asked. I consider myself so very blessed to have known Wayne and I'm incredibly grateful for the time I was able to have him in my life, and so extremely sad that he is now gone, as no one else can ever fill his space that he had in my life.

I have known Wayne and his family for many years I also lived on Leon Drive for a long time my heart goes out to Patsy and Elaine and Wayne's kids will truly be missed by a lot of people

I remember Wayne and Elaine from when we all lived on Leone Drive in 1966. My brother Billy Carver liked Elaine . That was many years ago but those were good memories!! I’m sure Wayne will be missed by all who knew him. My sympathies to his family.
