Anna M. Hau

SUN PRAIRIE - Anna M. Hau, age 93, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Hyland Crossings in Sun Prairie. She was born on September 16, 1929, in Fond du Lac, to Thomas and Melinda Clochesy. She married Roger Hau on September 11, 1953 in Fond du Lac.
Anna enjoyed spending time with family and friends more than anything. She made new friends wherever she went from Florida to the Northwoods and Sun Prairie. Her strong Catholic Faith carried throughout her entire life. She lit up the room with her smile. She just loved people and they loved her back. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, cooking, gardening, crafts and traveling. She profoundly touched so many lives with her kindness, bright light and warmth.
She is survived by her children: Patti (Wes) Chaussee, Mary Hau, Tim (Chris) Hau, Jim (Karen) Hau, Sherry (Tom) Pearson; daughter-in-law, Mary Kemp; grandchildren: Rebecca (Seth) Hardell, Alan Chaussee, Ben Hau, Greg Hau, Nick Hau, Justin (Joanna) Stegmann, Brad (Tara) Stegmann, Haden (Morgan) Hau, Nathan Hau; great-grandchildren: Griffen, Teagan, Jackson, Rilyn, Joella and Taya.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; her son, Doug; two sisters and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 229 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie. Father Thomas Kelley will preside. Visitation will be at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be held at Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sacred Hearts Endowment Fund. Following the service a luncheon will be held.
