MOUNT HOREB - Gary L. Baumgartner, age 78, of the Town of Perry passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born on September 6, 1945, in Monroe, WI, the son of William and Wilma (Melland) Baumgartner.
Gary is survived by his wife Jean; children: Kevin Baumgartner and Karla Baumgartner; grandchildren: Tanner and Lizzy Baumgartner and Nathan Lacy; and brother, Keith (Sue) Baumgartner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Alice Gjesvold.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Perry Lutheran Church, 1057 State Road 78, Mount Horeb, WI. Rev. Kelli Fisher will officiate. A gathering of relatives and friends will precede the memorial service from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Perry Lutheran Church.
The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
