I worked with Jan in the Emergency Department at Madison General many years ago. She became one of my best friends there. After I moved to Illinois I only saw her a few times but really missed her sweet personality. I had a powerful dream several years after working with her. It was a traumatic event in my family but in my dream Jan appeared to console me. So, even in my dream she showed her true spirit of giving and helping others. After my 40 years in health care and working with many she will always be one of my favorites. Condolences to her entire family. She was one of a kind.
