Jerome Imhoff Obituary
MADISON - Jerome D. "Jerry" Imhoff met his end of days on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Jerry was the middle child of 13 born to the late Catherine and Greg Imhoff.
Jerry graduated from Central High School and a number of years later attended and graduated from MATC. After graduation he started his career as a truck mechanic / semi driver at Gardner Baking.
On July 5, 1975, he married Cherie. They were blessed with a son, Jason, on November 19, 1980. They had lots of adventures exploring the state by taking Sunday drives or camping at their favorite state parks. They always looked forward to their fall family camp out.
The family grew on April 28, 2018, when Jason married Tori, a bright sunshine addition.
Jerry retired from Gardner Baking in 2012 and applied his many talents to gardening, building bird houses and feeders and crafting items to make his and Cherie's lives easier.
Jerry enjoyed simple pleasures like a good baseball or football game, outings or gatherings with family and friends, and jigsaw puzzling.
Per Jerry's request there will be no service. His cremains will be placed at three of his favorite places. Each will be followed by a supper club meal of a medium rare ribeye and an old fashioned.
For all the years Jerry and I were together, we had a bedtime ritual. A kiss, a hug, and a "love you, sleep well and see you in the morning." I will not be seeing you in the morning again but will always love you – sleep well.
