John J. Korb

DODGEVILLE - John J. Korb, 83 of Dodgeville, WI, died peacefully in his sleep at Milestone Memory Care, Cross Plains, WI, on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
He was born on March 15, 1941, to Reuben and Esther (Wilhelm) Korb in Madison, WI. He was the general manager of the House on the Rock for 20 years and later he worked as the concierge at the Springs Golf Resort in Spring Green, WI, until his retirement in 1998. He spent his free time traveling around the world visiting 67 countries.
Survivors include his brother, Jim and Marlene Korb, and their two sons: David and Brenda, and Joe and Jennifer, and their families as well as many cousins.
At John's request there will not be a service but instead make a donation in his memory at your local Humane Society.
Special thanks to all the people who cared for him during his three-year illness.
