Clark Korb was born in Billings, Montana on December 4, 1974 to Fred and Jo Korb. The third sibling of four, Clark quickly established himself as a precocious force to be reckoned with. He always wanted to know how things worked. There are countless stories from his childhood including digging into the ashes in the fireplace, taking apart the family iron and almost setting the house on fire, filling Dad’s tool belt with dog treats, sitting on the back steps talking with the family dog, and teaching himself the multiplication table in Kindergarten with a calculator he received as a birthday present.

Growing up, this passion for learning made him an excellent student, musician, and thinker. He surpassed many benchmarks earlier than most people. His first job (at 14) was playing lead guitar in the house band at Calamity Jane’s Dinner Theater, with his brother Ryan (drums), sister Kristin (bass) and younger brother Chad (saxophone). At Billings West High School, he played violin in the orchestra and was featured on guitar with the school’s big band (and All-Northwest big band). On top of all that, Clark was West High’s valedictorian for the class of ‘93.

Because of all the early work he had as a musician, he bought his first car (another lifelong passion) by the time he had a drivers license and paid for his Electrical Engineering degree (with honors) at Montana State University, Bozeman by playing in bar bands. Academically, Clark was always open (perhaps gleeful) to helping his siblings with their English papers, writing sharp comments in red ink in the margins and making them re-asses their desires to ask for his help. It was only annoying because he was always right.

He married as he finished his studies at MSU (1997), and they moved to San Diego where Clark worked at Qualcomm between the hardware and software departments. It was during this period that he earned his Masters in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla. After more than 10 years of hard work, both his time as an engineer and husband had come to an end.

Inspired by a massage class at IPSB, Clark’s career made a hard left and he dove deep into the world of wellness. While seeming like a dramatic change, it really wasn’t. Clark pursued his curiosity and studied like an engineer to understand the relationship between “software and hardware.” This time, however, it was with people instead of cell phones. Being Clark, he studied anatomy and multiple modalities of body work and synthesized these into his own expression ––maximizing his ability to help others. He cared deeply about his clients and their healing process, finding fulfillment in helping others reach their potential.

He was equally passionate and ambitious. With dream boards full of cars, food, wine, and the newest computer technology, he would visualize and achieve. There wasn’t a goal he couldn’t reach. In turn, he was generous in sharing all he knew.

Above all, Clark embodied his practice of living with intention and letting in joy. He was a gentle soul who was always present, making everyone feel special and fully seen. Sharing insightful wisdom beyond his years and a much needed laugh, Clark always met people where they were. This allowed him to impact so many whether they were YouTube viewers, clientele, friends, or family. He was truly a pillar of support and care to all.

Clark treasured those closest to him. He traveled every year to Montana to spend Christmas with his parents (Fred and Jo), siblings (Kristin, Ryan and Chad) and their families (Morten Stove, Carrie Korb, Coleman Korb, Zoë Dahse, Eva Korb and Kate Korb) and chosen family (Vint Lavinder). During his last Christmas in Montana, he gave bodywork to everyone who wanted it and was the family sommelier. Those days together were full of good food, card games, joy, and laughter.

Clark left us all too early and suddenly on January 12, 2026 because of an aortic dissection. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jo Korb, who passed on January 11, 2025. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, teacher, and friend.
