Laurie Lindeen Obituary
Being Johnny's mother was Laurie's greatest joy and she was so proud of the man he's become. She was a writer, author (Petal Pusher: A Rock & Roll Cinderella Story), educator, musician, and an activist. Her accomplishments and accolades are too many to list.
Laurie was completely herself and she knew exactly who she was. She was a daydream believer and an instigator of mischief and merriment. Laurie lived with MS for 40 years and handled it with grace, humor and tenacity. Her wisdom and guidance will be missed.
Laurie leaves behind her beloved son Johnny, partner James Diem and his family, father Lance Lindeen (Beverlee), siblings Megan Natzke (Pete), Hillary Benson (Dirk), and Christopher Lindeen, and close cousin Brittaney Smith (Chris Kane), in addition to her many nieces and nephews, cousins, her Petal sisters Coleen Elwood and Linda Pitmon, and countless friends and colleagues.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
To honor Laurie, you may donate to the Kamala Harris 2024 presidential campaign in her name.

I am sorry she is gone. I always admired her music. I read and loved her book. I sang with her as part of the Detachables. It was Cindy Lawsons group that were part of a fundraiser for the women of Afghanistan. I will not forget her. Jill Kimmel Connelly

She was one of a kind. So happy we could relive our high school stories at dinner before our class reunion in June. It´s so hard to believe she´s gone.
