Marie A. Anderson, age 95, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Marie was born on February 21, 1929, in Leeds, WI. On June 11, 1949, she was united in marriage to Alvin Anderson in South Leeds, WI. Marie worked at the Wisconsin Porcelain Company in her younger years, and then she did childcare for many years in her home.
Marie was an avid Badger and Packer fan. She also enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and trips to the casino. Alvin and Marie spent their years at their cottage; and above all, they enjoyed most spending time with her family.
Marie is survived by her six children: Larry "Smokey" (Janet) Anderson, Sharon (Don) Woolery, David (Rachel) Anderson, Michael (Peggy) Anderson, Pat (Sam Ewelt) Anderson, and Tami (Ed Hecker) Ollerman; brother-in-law Richard (Joyce) Sutton; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; several other nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin; her parents, Byron and Helen McQueen; sisters: Evelyn (Raymond) Wendt and Isabelle (Harold) Bakke; brother, Harold (Merlene) McQueen; and grandson, Bobby Ollerman.
Marie will be reunited with her husband, Alvin, in a private service at a later date.
