WAUNAKEE - Michael Schmieding, 69, Waunakee, died on Wed. Feb 9, 2022 at his home following a long illness. A Memorial service will be held on Friday Feb 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A complete obituary will follow in Wed. State Journal.

Sorry to learn of Mike's passing. I did not know Mike for alot of years as we met at work and soon started sharing hunting property & stories. I enjoyed his humor and soon learned which buttons to push all in the fun of are friendship. Farewell my friend.
