Sharp, Dr. Michael Anthony

TOCCOA, Ga. - Dr. Michael Anthony Sharp, age 61, of Toccoa, Ga., passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at Stephens County Hospital. Born Feb. 10, 1960, in Atlanta, Ga., he was the son of the late Brad Bonner and Sharon Sharp. He was preceded into Heaven by his father, Patrick Sharp. He was a member of The Pointe Church. Dr. Sharp was an avid writer of Christian fiction and dedicated to sharing the love and good news of Jesus Christ. Family members include his mother, Sharon Sharp of Toccoa, Ga.; his sons, Patrick and Alex Sharp of Madison, Wis.; brother, Ian Sharp of Toccoa, Ga.; sister, Deborah Chica of Woodstock, Ga.; and beloved grandchildren, Orion and Bastion Sharp.

A memorial service will be held at THE POINTE CHURCH on Friday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Chad Smith officiating. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers and sign the online guestbook at www.whitlockmortuary.net.
