Nancy Pullara Obituary
May 29, 1953 - October 12, 2025
FITCHBURG – Nancy K. Pullara, age 72, of Fitchburg, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born on May 29, 1953, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Orvin Jensen and Fern (Tjugum) Jensen.
Nancy met the love of her life, Casper "Butch" Pullara at Central High School in Madison in 10th grade. They were united in marriage on July 14, 1973, at St. James Church in Madison. Nancy graduated from MATC, receiving an associate's degree in dental hygiene.
Nancy worked for many years as a dental hygienist. She expressed her creativity through embroidery, ceramics and scrapbooking. She was proud of her Norwegian heritage. Nancy poured her whole heart into her family. She enjoyed a lifetime of family vacations. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, playing games like foosball and Catchphrase. She found joy in simple things like nurturing orchids and caring for animals. Nancy was compassionate and was always there for everyone by listening, advising and supporting them. She appreciated her time with her hospice support group. Above all, Nancy cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, the lights of her life.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Casper "Butch"; sons, Tony (Michelle) Pullara and Joey (Amber) Pullara; daughter, Christy (DJ) Pullara; and grandchildren, Addie, Hope, Ryder, Jasper, David and Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvin and Fern Jensen; and granddaughter, Anneliese.
A funeral service will be held at Gunderson Fitchburg Funeral and Cremation Care, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, with Pastor Todd McVey presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the funeral home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.

All who knew her loved her, including animals. She will be deeply missed from this earth but will live forever in our hearts.
