Easterday, Phyllis E. MacAllan
VERONA/MADISON – Phyllis E. MacAllan Easterday went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020. She was born on March 18, 1928, in Lansing, Mich., to John "Jack" and Lora (Cherry) MacAllan.
Phyllis graduated from the University of Michigan with a medical technology degree. She worked full-time in the Inorganic Chemistry Department for the University of Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene for 26 years. She loved cross-stitch, researching new recipes, cooking, working in her flower garden, and sharing time with friends. After retirement, she spent a number of years volunteering as a greeter at the Ronald McDonald House in Madison. She had a heart of gold.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Geoff Easterday of Arbor Vitae; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
We would like to thank the staff at Noel Manor Memory Care for their kindness, and Heartland Hospice.
Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phyllis' name to Heartland Hospice, 2801 Crossroads Drive, #2000, Madison, WI 53718.
