MADISON - Rebecca L. Schumann, age 69, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2023.
She was born on April 6, 1954, to Willard and Pearl Schumann. She graduated high school from Wisconsin Heights in 1972. For the majority of her working career, she worked at Forest Products in Madison. Rebecca enjoyed traveling and playing golf with her loving husband Gary. She also had many dogs that were always special in her heart. In retirement, she volunteered at several agencies that provided care and services for people in need.
Rebecca is survived by her mother, Pearl Schumann; siblings: Jennie (Steve) Kuske, Rita (Mike) Acker, Steven (Cheryl) Schumann, Jeanne (Danny) Booth; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Lichtenberg; her father, Willard Schumann; niece, Jessica Acker; and a special grandfather, Elmer Schumann.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road in Madison, Service will begin at 11:00 AM.
