Palzkill, Richard "Dick"
MINERAL POINT - Richard "Dick" Palzkill, age 88, of Mineral Point, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
He was born at home on the Palzkill farm on Sept. 12, 1932. He farmed his whole life and enjoyed a good card game. Dick married Ellen Lacy on May 21, 1960, at St. Raphael's in Madison. Dick and Ellen raised six children on the farm and this month would have celebrated 61 years together.
Dick is survived by his wife, Ellen; six children, John (Jennifer) Palzkill of Mineral Point, Patrick (Danielle) Palzkill of Norwell, Mass., Gary (Sheila) Palzkill of Waukesha, Colleen (Gregg) Krattiger of McFarland, Carolyn (Ken) Anderson of Ithaca, and Janice (Bruce) Quinton of Pepin; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Lyola (May) Palzkill; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Palzkill; and two infant siblings, Matthew and Mary Alice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 7 at SS. MARY & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mineral Point. Father Michael Tarigopula will officiate. Friends and family may greet the family at the church on Thursday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m. prior to service.
The family requests the wearing of masks and social distancing at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to Ss. Mary & Paul Catholic Church or Agrace Hospice.
