I got to know Bob through the WIL-MAR and GOODMAN COMMUNITY CENTERS and the Public Libraries. I enjoyed his cheerful stories about EAST HIGH SCHOOL -- which we both attended but in different years -- and especially about his family history as builders in Madison.
Fun to be with. And for me he was always a man of his word. I will miss him: his smile, his generosity, his sense of humor, and his pride in his family history in the construction business in Madison.
I had been asking around about him since my return to Madison in the last 18 somewhat reclusive months of the pandemic.
