BILLINGS, MT - Ruth Hendrikse, age 89, passed away on July 5, 2022.
Ruth was a woman of strong faith who lived simply, contentedly, and wonderfully in the grace of her savior Jesus Christ. She was devoted to her family and many friends, and had a love for her garden, her walks, her nursery school kids, and her many adventures.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ray Hendrikse.
She is survived by her three children, Tom Hendrikse (Gwen), Jon Hendrikse, Amy Hendrikse (Keith Downey), eleven loving grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9, 5:30 PM, followed by a light meal, at Lake Edge United Church of Christ, 4200 Buckeye Road, Madison, WI.

We are so sorry for your loss.
I worked with Ray with DNR for several years. Starting in the Baraboo Hills and Later in Madison. Ruth and Ray would invite me dinner when I was a single forester in Portage, We both had Daughters named Amy about the same age. We will miss their friendship. Allen and Judie Prey,Madison,Wi.
