Sharon Keehn Obituary

Sharon Keehn

December 17, 1942 - June 4, 2025

Sharon Mary Keehn, 82, of Stoughton passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born on December 17, 1942 in Beaver Dam to Earl and Virginia (Finley) Biel. On August 7, 1965 Sharon married Walter Keehn and together they raised four children. Throughout her life Sharon worked at several grocery stores in various capacities retiring from Stoughton Pick 'N Save in 2004. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering at the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry in Madison and at St. Ann's funeral luncheons. Sharon loved spending time with her family, which included road trips and family gatherings especially those that included cake. She also cherished the Alaskan cruise and bus tour she took with her husband. Sharon was a people person. She loved chatting and getting to know everyone she met. Whether it was her customers at the store or her many friends and neighbors, everyone was special to her. Sharon's sense of humor, big heart and generous spirit were always present. She was a devoted member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Stoughton.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Walter Keehn; children, Kevin (Teri) Keehn of Hartland, Janice Keehn of Stoughton, Jeff Keehn of Sun Prairie, Kathy Keehn (Dee Tobias) of Sister Bay; grandchildren, Spenser and Jacob Keehn of Hartland; brother, Richard (Maris) Biel; she is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Virginia Biel; her sister, Rita (Ed) Marshall; and her brother, Billy Biel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann Catholic Church or St. Vincent De Paul - Madison. The family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice staff for their exceptional care for Sharon. The family, also, appreciates the supportive loving care provided by Theresa Buettner.

A memorial mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 323 N Van Buren St., Stoughton, WI 53589. A visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
