MADISON - Stephanie passed on to eternal life on June 6, 2024.
At UW-Madison, her love for science and all living things led her to earn her BS in Biochemistry and Spanish with a minor in Global Health, as well as a PhD in Nutritional Sciences. She worked in several Madison-area laboratories, most recently with the UW-Madison Carbone Center. She joined the AmeriCorps program and supported the strong Latinx community services groups in Milwaukee and Madison, including 16th Street Clinic, Centro Hispano of Dane County and Roots4Change.
She is survived by her husband, Chris; parents, Michael and Victoria Mondloch; sisters: Monica Mondloch and Emily (Brett) Lehrer; her in-laws, Robert and Mary Davis; other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Stephanie's life will take place at Centro Hispano, 2403 Cypress Way, Madison, WI, 53713, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
