Marcia Barry Obituary
Born in Superior on August 19, 1944, she was the daughter of William and Katherine (Polglase) Rehnstrand.
Marcia graduated with the class of 1962 from Superior Central High School. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin Superior as a member of the Alpha Kappa sorority. She served as an elementary school teacher in the Madison School District before retiring to raise her family.
She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and to be outdoors. Her interests included hiking, canoeing, fishing, birding, gardening, and plant identification. Marcia was an excellent cook, loved art, and enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, William and Michael Rehnstrand.
Marcia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard "Rick" Barry; sons, Peter Barry and Ben (Michelle) Barry; and grandchildren, Ethan, Ashley, and Hailey.
Following Marcia's wishes, a family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
