I began working with Todd in 2013 when I started with the WI Department of Administration, and Todd was Captain of the State Capitol Police. We quickly bonded through the nature of our overlapping duties and have been close friends since. We have celebrated personal and professional victories, commiserated on frustrations, and have planned to save the world in countless conversations. Todd was even my boss for a year once. As many have said, Todd was a man of consideration, kindness, wisdom, and boundless determination when it came to hard work. "Calm waters that run deep" is a perfect description for my dear friend, who valued his privacy but still also valued his many friends, in all of his many endeavors.

I worked with Todd for Sauk County about 5 years ago, he was my supervisor in a flood recovery program. We worked closely together and I was pregnant at the time. I have fond and entertaining memories of me scootching him out of uncomfortable situations with my giant belly, and us laughing over the odd circumstances we came across, like muddy basements full of ducks and chickens. He had an unopened safe bought in auction we loved to ponder and speculate about the contents therewithin. We had remained close since, grabbing meals together when possible. I'll miss his entrepreneurial spirit and the kind perspective he held toward everyone. Todd was a gentle soul that has positively impacted many and I will personally miss very much. I won't be able to make the visitation, but send my warmest thoughts and sympathy to the family.

I worked with Todd for several years when we both were officers at the UW Police Department. We became good friends during that time. One of my best memories was helping him unload a semi-truck of building materials for a house he was building on Twin Valley Road in Middleton. It was a hot day and a lot of work but most things with Todd involved were enjoyable! I have not seen Todd for several years and was shocked to hear of his passing. As I now live in Colorado I will be unable to attend his services. He was a good friend and always fun to be around. He will be missed!
