Todd Ritschard Obituary

Todd Lee Ritschard, age 58 of Phoenix, AZ, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1966 to Royal and Sun Bun Ritschard.

Todd grew up in southern WI on a dairy farm near Juda, WI, then the family moved to a farm just outside of Mt. Horeb, WI. He enjoyed playing basketball and football with his siblings as well as working on the farm. He attended Mt. Horeb High School and then later Madison West High School where he graduated in 1985. From there he had aspirations of creating a life away from WI and chose to move to AZ. He worked in retail for years selling shoes, working at restaurants and then in home improvement. He enjoyed following major sporting events like the Super Bowl, boxing and cheering for his Phoenix Suns.

He is survived by his brothers Tony (Jason) Ritschard and Tim (Dawn) Ritschard, his sisters, Tracy Schmock, Tina (Laird) McLean and Tara Ritschard, his four nephews, Landon McLean and Rowan McLean, Tallen Ritschard and Tyler Ritschard, 2 nieces, Savanna Gangstad and Ava McLean and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Terry, sister, Tricia and brother in-law Larry Schmock.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28, from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. at Sundown Saloon on the Eastside of Madison. All family and friends are welcome.

The family would like to thank Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix for their comfort and care.
