Trina Messling Obituary

Trina Messling

October 16, 1983 - February 4, 2025

After a courageous fight, Trina Marie Messling, age 41, of Stoddard, lost her battle to cirrhosis and passed away on February 4, 2025. Four years ago, doctors gave her six months to live, but Trina did it her way and said "Nope, not yet." It was in her genes to be strong; she's a Mahan. Trina was a great athlete and a huge dog lover, especially her for beloved Wiener dogs, even though her sister would always make fun of her "goofy dogs."

Her family has comfort knowing Trina is up there catching the biggest fish and finding the biggest morel mushrooms.

She is survived by her parents, Cathy and Lonnie Messling of Stoddard, WI; her siblings, Scott (Tanya) McDaniel of Tomah, WI and Shannon (Mark) Kirking of Byron, IL; her boyfriend, Bryan O'Connor; and her fur child, Valkore.

No services are being held for Trina at this time. Online condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
