Dwayne "WAG" Wagstaff
Aug. 19, 1947 - March 14, 2024
TWIN FALLS - Dwayne "WAG" Wagstaff was born in Holladay, UT on August 19, 1947 to Donald and Anne Wagstaff. He passed away following a very brief illness on March 14, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital in Twin Falls, ID with his family by his side.
Wag was the sixth of ten children. He married his sweetheart Carmen Fowkes on July 17, 1969. Together, they had two pain in the ass "PITA" kids that they are very proud of.
He was a Veteran of the USAF, had a successful career with Lawson Products, Inc. for over thirty years and retired at the age of 50!
In 2000, he and his son founded Green Side Landscape Maintenance together. He was very involved for many years trimming lawns, watering and planting up until today.
Wag loved his Red 1963 VW Bug Ragtop which he and Dewey restored together. He also enjoyed driving Carmen's little white Porsche 911 Carrera Targa whenever she would let him in the driver's seat.
Golf was his favorite pass time, spending countless hours on the courses with friends and family at Blue Lakes and Clear Lakes Country Clubs.
Dwayne had three grandchildren: Hailey, Morgan (Brandt) and Connor. He loved them very much and looked forward to seeing them as often as possible.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen; his son, Dewey (Allison); and his daughter, Cissy Wagstaff-Hull (Tony); as well as his grandchildren. He has six surviving siblings: Sheryl Anne, Janet, Doug, Kathy, Darlene and Darol. He is preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, Ralph and Donna that were his bonus parents and his brother, Dale Cleon and infant sister, Judith Elaine.
Per WAG's wishes, there will be no formal services.
We ask that you honor his memory by holding your loved ones close and living each day with gratitude.
The family would like to thank his caregivers at St. Lukes's and his Physician Dr. Jared Hendersen for their skilled and compassionate care. Until we see you again "on the trail" Dad, WE LOVE YOU!!!
