Laren Roberts Hansen
January 26, 1939 - May 21, 2021
Laren Roberts Hansen, 82 passed away in the early morning of May 21, 2021 after a long illness, at St. Luke's Magic Valley.
Laren was born January 26, 1939 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ervin Francis Hansen and Zenetta Roberts.
He married Emma Elaine Wheeler, August 5, 1960 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple.
In his early years, Laren enjoyed cars and working on them and fixing things. He worked for the Times-News in Twin Falls for 40 years as a pressman. One of his few hobbies was a Ham radio operator - he became a member of a HAM radio club and was able to get his HAM license. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was proud of his grandsons and granddaughters that served missions. His family was his greatest pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Joyce, and infant sister Darlene.
Laren is survived by his loving wife Elaine of Carey, Idaho, Daughters Lana and (Tony) Hepworth, Kimberly, Idaho, Carrie Hansen and Dani Bruns of Twin Falls, Idaho, Heidi and (John) Peck of Carey, Idaho, Andrea and (Carlos) Reyes of Carey, Idaho, and his son Curtis and (Tresa) Hansen of West Wendover, Nevada. His 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Many fond memories of Laren and his family while I was growing up. Laren taught me to water ski on the Snake River and we had many fun Christmas Eve parties with the family. His sense of humor and laughter will be missed. So sorry I couldn't come to the funeral.
