Robert Maurice Turner Obituary

Robert "Bob" Turner, age 58, passed away December 12, 2025, in Mission Viejo, Calif., surrounded by loved ones. Born in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Judith Helen (Qualls) Howard and Neil Ralph Turner, stepson of William Jacob Howard III. Bob was raised on a small farm, the youngest of four siblings. A natural athlete, Bob excelled in youth boxing, HS track and football. He earned a football scholarship to Walla Walla College, later attending Boise State University. In 1989, Bob began his career in California, at Aeronet Logistics. Over three decades, he served with dedication as General Manager, EVP, and ultimately named CEO of Aeronet Worldwide Inc. in 2023. Bob's last decade was spent with his life partner, Maureen Nash, in Southern California, traveling and enjoying time with loved ones. Bob recently began developing "Turner's Table," a blog combining his culinary creations with curated playlists. Bob was a loving father to his son Casey, and grandchildren Greenly, Riley and Colby, and to Maureen's children and grandchildren Cierra, August, Nash and McKayla. He was inspired by animals, music, delicious food, a good story, a great joke, fishing in Alaska, being with those he loved. Bob is remembered for his booming voice and loving personality. He will be deeply missed. Bob was predeceased by his father, Neil Ralph Turner. He is survived by his loving partner, Maureen Nash; children, Cierra (Jason) Taylor, McKayla Brooks, Nash Taylor, Casey (Jessica) Turner; grandchildren, Greenly, Riley and Colby Turner, August Allen; mother, Judith Helen (Qualls) Howard; stepfather, William J. Howard III; siblings, Monte (Margaret) Turner, Carmen (Dave) Turner, Susie (Paul) Turner; former partner, Cindy Turner; and many beloved extended family members.

" I had the privilege of meeting Bob through my mutual colleague and his best friend Jim Sweeney. From what Jim had shared with me about Bob, I honestly said to myself, no one could be that amazing... Well, enter Bob on our first conference call, not a video call, a straight up, old school conference call. From HELLO you can sense his SMILE, KINDNESS, PROFESSIONALISM, on this call. He was such a joy, so giving of his knowledge, a true maven in his industry, and most of all, he really loved what he did, and he was great at it. When Jim called me to share what had happened with Bob, truly tragic, and in line with the adage "only the good die young", I was just stunned and devastated - like everyone else. I paused for a moment, cried, and recalled the last call I had with Bob and Jim. As always, he was helpful, but more importantly, I could feel Bob's smile, as we closed the call - and that is how I will forever remember this INCREDIBLE GENTLE - MAN. Godspeed my friend. "

Bobby Turner was my nephew, the same age as my oldest son. He was just the kindest, happiest young man, gone way too soon. I'm sending my love and support to his siblings and his mother and Bill. Hug your loved ones tight!
