Vernice "Cissy" Tucker

March 1, 1956 - April 22, 2025

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vernice "Cissy" Tucker, age 69. Vernice passed away peacefully at home in Twin Falls, Idaho, surrounded by family on April 22, 2025.

Born on March 1, 1956, in Prineville, Ore., Vernice was well known for her love of family and friends, her willingness to help those in need, and her creative abilities. She was a devoted wife to William Tucker and a loving mother to Lora, Greg, Joyce, Billy, Jeremy, Ryan, and Tia, along with many unrelated children that called her mom.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bun and Elsie; brothers, Richard Brannan and Brian Yager; and sister, Anna Yager Brannan.

She is survived by her husband, William Tucker; brother, Rocky Brannan; sister, Sandra Yager; children, Lora Rodriguez, Greg Taylor, Joyce Valdez, Billy Lane II, Jeremy Carter, Ryan Yager and Tia Hennington Yager; over 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

At Vernice's request there will not be funeral services. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
