Bobbette Barta Obituary

Bobbette J. Arbogast Barta passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio. She was born July 23, 1963. Although she went to school for medical transcription, she worked at Horizon Village nursing home in the activities department for several years. Her passion was helping people and taking care of their needs. In March of 1985 she married Woodford Arbogast. They were married eleven years until his passing in March of 1997. Bobbette met David Barta in 2001; they were wed on April 17, 2017. They were married until his passing in December 2019. Bobbette was an amazing and strong woman and will be missed by so many. Her laughter could fill an entire room. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, spending time with her animals, Dr. Pepper, and most of all, her family. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carrie (Josh) Calladine of Kingsville, Ohio and Mary Beth (Jimmy) Walton of Newton Falls Ohio; her grandchildren, Emma (Payton) Newsome, Hannah, Isaac, Abbie, Silas, Elijah, and Matthias Calladine, Brooke, Hunter, and Kami Walton; as well as her great grandchildren, Naomi and Jeremiah Newsome. She was also preceded in death by her father, Donald Gardner; her sister, Tina Gracy; and her brother, Donald Gardner. There will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
