Carole E. Gifford

Carole E. Gifford, age 83 of Liberty Township passed away peacefully on Monday September 8, 2025 at Liberty Health Care Center. Carole was born March 23, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Harry Sr. & Mary Kuhn Cracraft. She was a 1960 graduate of North High School. Carole worked in manufacturing at Steel City in Youngstown for many years retiring in 1987. She was a member of Canfield Presbyterian Church. Her husband Donald E. Gifford Sr. whom she married March 2, 1963 passed away November 5, 2007. Carole will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family; her son Vincent (Heunjoo) Gifford of Suwanee, Georgia, and her daughter Mary (Christopher) Rodriguez of North Port, Florida, and three grandchildren Jessica Groberg, Natalie Rodriguez, and Ariella Rodriguez. She also leaves her sister-in-law Becky Cracraft of Hubbard. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, son Donald E. Gifford Jr., sisters Alberta June DeRaud, Harriet Jean Greathouse, Doris Mesaros, Janet Fair, and brother Harry Cracraft Jr. There will be services held at 11:00 AM on Saturday September 13, 2025 with calling hours prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
