Charles Williams Obituary

Charles Williams Jr. Obituary Charles E. Williams, Jr., began his life's journey in Wheeling, West Virgina, with his wonderful parents Dolores Kralovic Williams and Charles E. Williams, Sr., on December 6, 1957. He passed on July 16, 2024. He fought the good fight. Charlie lived a blessed life as he always tried to keep the positive outlook he's known for. He packed a great deal of living into these sixty-six years. We believe everyone has many "Charlie" memories! Charlie was known by many nicknames; some were even appropriate! He graduated from Maplewood High School in 1976, having played basketball and baseball. Also, he played basketball, golf, softball, and bowled after high school. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports, and talking sports with the grandchildren as much as he could. He was fortunate to play in a softball league with his brothers and his sons, Chuck and Marty. He also enjoyed swimming as often as he could with his grandkids. Splash fights, squirt guns, and teaming up with his only granddaughter and namesake Charlee against the boys! As his grandson MJ said, Grandpa Sasquatch we all were always making good memories and that is what we did! He retired from American Welding in Warren, and construction with his brothers. At Cortland Lanes, he was the first to yell "gutter ball!" and soon the entire team and most of the league followed! Late night card games with great friends and many days of golfing were had. John Wayne movies and almost any westerns were watched. Passing on before Charlie was his dad Charles E. Williams, Sr., and his grandson Aiden Elder. He is survived by his sad, but blessed for having him in their lives family: his mother Dolores Williams, Cortland, wife Patti of Cortland, sons Judge Marty D. Nosich (Jami) and their boys MJ and Brady of Cortland, Chuck Williams III (Courtney) and their son Noah and daughter Charlee of Cortland; his siblings Rick Williams (Nanette) of Cortland, Mike Williams (Laurie), of Bazetta, Steve Williams (Dena) of Oklahoma, Patty Coleman (Vernon) of Burghill, Tina Coleman (Dallas) of Niles, Bill Williams (Jaymie) of Oklahoma, and his much loved/spoiled dog IzzyBee, and many nieces and nephews. One of the last serious conversations he had with his wife was for his sons, their wives, and the grandchildren to know that he loved them so very much and he was so very proud of them all. He said he wishes them all a long, very happy life with blessings of great health throughout. His biggest wish is for his family to remain close like a circle with each other never-ending no matter what, and not to worry about the small stuff. Instead enjoy, be grateful, and work on life's bumps. Being a very loyal sports fan, he would want calling hours and his celebration of life to be casual. He loved the Cleveland teams and the Buckeyes, so feel free to wear your sports gear. If you know Charlie, he always preferred to be casual. We would like to extend our gratitude to Cortland Health Care for the care they provided.
