Edward Pankey Obituary

Mr. Edward Albert "Skeet" Pankey, 67, of Columbus, formerly of Youngstown, transitioned from his earthly labor to eternal peace on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Pankey was born October 21, 1957, in Youngstown, a son of Benjamin Sr. and Dorothy Mae Jackson Pankey. He had been employed as an Environmental Aide with Sodexo Healthcare Company in Columbus. "Skeet" enjoyed music, traveling, dominoes, social card games, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. However, Edward loved being with his beloved family and friends. He leaves to forever cherish his life and many unforgettable memories, his daughters, Angela Davis of Girard, and Chenelle Hill of Columbus; four grandchildren, Corey, Sa'mone, Mayaunna, and Quaden; a sister, Sandra (Stanley) Wallace of Hubbard; a special niece who he resided with, Dorothy Pankey Lewis of Columbus; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles A., Benjamin R., Walter K., Joseph M., Larry C., and Raymond L. Pankey. Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, OH. 44505.
