Frank E. Roberts Jr., 86, passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2024.

Frank was born on February 23, 1938 in McKeesport, PA, a son of the late Frank E. and Celia E. (Salo) Roberts Sr.

He was a 1956 graduate of Glassport High School and was proud to grow up in Glassport, PA.  After high school, he continued his education at Duquesne University, School of Pharmacy, graduating in 1960. During his studies, he worked at Copperweld Steel Company in Warren. After completing college, he moved to Warren in 1960 and began his career as a registered pharmacist at Thrift Drug in Warren. He continued to work at various local pharmacies before retiring from Rite Aid in 2006.

On May 12, 1962, he married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Eddy) Roberts and started their family. He enjoyed many winters in Venice, Florida with Mary Ann during his retirement, while relaxing and socializing with friends and family with a good glass of wine. He enjoyed traveling with Mary Ann to five continents; enjoyed many cruises and family vacations with his wife and lifelong friends.

He enjoyed playing golf with friends and family, listening to music, especially smooth jazz, and had a thirst for knowledge and books. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was always supporting and loving his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, and Kyle and attending their sporting events. He was most proud of being a part of their accomplishments.

I am so sorry to hear of Frank´s passing. He was instrumental in helping me choose my career path of becoming a pharmacist. I worked at Aid N Save as a high school student and I would help him out in the pharmacy. Thank you, Frank, for your guidance and friendship. RIP
