John Moon Obituary

John F. Moon, 66 of Johnston Township, formerly of Newton Falls passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 4:19pm. He was born in Franklin, PA on October 20, 1957; the son of the late Donald F and Patricia A. (Spencer) Moon. John worked and retired as an Oil Rig Truck Driver for Halliburton. He served our country in United States Army. He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia (Jim) Lyons of Bristolville and Priscilla (Mike) Hill of Port St. Lucie, Florida, one sister, Brenda (Mark) Myers of Ocala, Florida; three brothers, Larry (Irene) Moon of Kershaw, SC, Ron (Brenda) Moon of Cortland and Randy (Kenny) Moon of New Market, Tennessee and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A time of rememberance will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 2-4pm at James Funeral Home. Promptly at 4pm military honors will be observed at the funeral home. The family has asked that monetary donations be made in John's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
