Kane Schultz Obituary

Cortland – Kane Christopher Schultz, 20 months, who was loved by his family and all who met him, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 19, 2023 at his home. Kane was born on April 14, 2022 in Warren, OH, a son of Matthew and Mary (Wundrow) Schultz. He was the happiest baby boy that brought joy and love to his family. He loved playing with his friends and sisters, dinosaurs, tractors, and watching Blippi. He enjoyed going to work with his dad, facetiming his GiGi, and was always connected to his mom's hip. Kane could be often found chasing his sisters around, pretending to be a dinosaur or sitting on the couch watching tv with his dad before bed each night. Kane is deeply loved and missed by his parents, Matthew and Mary Schultz; sisters, Emma and Indy Schultz; maternal grandparents, Andrea (Steve) Zimmer and James (Lisa) Wundrow; paternal grandparents, Ed and Michelle Schultz; uncle Jimmy Pemberton; aunts Rachel and Megan Schultz; and numerous cousins and extended family. Family and friends may visit on Saturday December 23, 2023 from 1-3:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer -Winans Chapel, located at 164 N. High St. in Cortland. A memorial service will follow to celebrate Kane's life at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kane's family, in care of the funeral home.
