A passionate nature photographer, Larry dedicated many hours to capturing the beauty of wildlife in Mill Creek Park. His photographic endeavors earned him recognition, including numerous ribbons at the Canfield Fair. Beyond photography, Larry enjoyed nurturing a vibrant garden, particularly fond of growing tomatoes that often graced the family meals he prepared. His interests also included following sports, where he found pleasure in cheering on the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and enjoying the thrills of NASCAR.

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry to hear of Larry´s death. I don´t know if you remember me from Woodrow Wilson - I graduated in 1969 as Carol Tubbs. Larry and I were both in the band and played clarinet right next to each other. I always thought he was a very nice person. Later on, I was a Medical Technologist in the Lab at St. Elizabeth, and I would see Larry all the time because maintainence was on the first floor right behind the lab. Just saw him very recently so I am so surprised to hear of his death. I lost my husband two years ago around this same time and he also had just turned 71. You have my deepest sympathy. It´s not easy but I comforted myself with believing he was in a better place. Take care and stay strong.
