Masury – Lawrence E. Shacklock, 85, passed away Wednesday evening, September 11, 2024 at his daughter’s residence, surrounded by his family.
Lawrence was born on August 27, 1939 in Sharon, PA, a son of the late Arthur and Jennie Shacklock.
He joined the United States Army in 1962 and served active duty for two years before transferring to the reserves and receiving an honorable discharge.
He worked at Hewitt Packard in Palo Alto, CA before returning to Pennsylvania. He was a pipefitter at Sharon Steel for 42 years and retired in 2004. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working on his yard. In his younger years he also enjoyed playing video games with his grandchildren.
Lawrence will be deeply missed by his loving children, Michael Millero, Melodee Beasley, Michelle Millero, Dianna Hake, and Debra (Eric) Naylor; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Susan Vidal, Mary Ryan, James, Mark, Brian, Timothy, and Arthur Shacklock.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol F. Shacklock, whom he married on January 21, 1966 and passed away on February 25, 2018; and sisters, Lucille Hawkins and Joan Shacklock.
Family and friends may visit from 5-7:00PM on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at Lane Family Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel, located at 6923 Warren Sharon Road in Brookfield.

I was so inspired by My neighbor Larry and I loved to hear the Harley coming in after work and leaving to get to work. I bought my own as soon as I got old enough. Larry will be missed but never forgotten. Dave Chavka (neighbor) friend of the family
