Nancy M. Tabor

Nancy M. Tabor, 61, of Niles, passed away on Friday September 5, 2025, at her home in Niles surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 13, 1964, in Warren, the daughter of Frank and Barbara Viole. Nancy was a 1982 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She was employed at WesBanco (formerly Premier Bank and Home Savings Bank) as a VP District Manager. She worked hard to build her career over the last 4 decades starting at Trumbull Savings as a Bank Teller then Branch Manager, moving to US Bank as a Branch Manager then a Financial Advisor, then a District Manager before moving to Home Savings as a District Manager.When she wasn't working, Nancy could be found enjoying the sun and water, whether the pool, ocean, or lake and a good glass of wine. Winery tours, slot machines, and vacationing with family and friends were some of her favorite pastimes. She was an avid Ohio State and Steelers fan and enjoyed spending her quality time with family, especially her grandson Wesley. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Danielle T. Washburn (Jonathan) and grandson Wesley Washburn of Canton, and son Leslie B. Tabor of Columbus, and her siblings Anthony Viole (Dawnell) of Foothill Ranch, CA, Catherine Viole of Austintown, and Suzanne Hickey (Leo) of Salem, her sisters-in-law Martha Truss (Michael) of Warren, Janet Tabor of Niles, Cindy Tabor of Mineral Ridge, and brother-in-law Geoffrey Tabor of Williamstown, Massachusetts, as well as many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Leslie A. Tabor, and her parents. In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made to The Les Tabor Scholarship Fund in memory of Nancy. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where prayer services will be held at 6:30PM Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11AM at Saint Pope John XXIII Parish-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Friends and family are kindly asked to please meet directly at the church instead of the funeral home on the day of the funeral.Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
