Ralph Valerio Obituary

Ralph W. Valerio, 61 WILLOWICK…Ralph W. Valerio, 61 passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Ralph was born November 2, 1963 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Ralph J. and Marlene (Madura) Valerio. He was a 1982 graduate and valedictorian of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from YSU. Ralph previously lived in New Jersey for several years and then in the Cleveland area for 30 years. Ralph worked as a quality assurance engineer for Stryker Medical for 22 years. His work allowed him to travel to France, Ireland and Switzerland regularly. Ralph was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid Browns and Guardians fan. He loved music, especially from the 1980's and he enjoyed going to the area casinos. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Ralph will be deeply missed and always remembered by his sister, Yvonne (Mike Beeson) Valerio of Cortland, Ohio; his brother, Mark Valerio of Campbell, Ohio; his two nephews, Justin Booker of Campbell and Brandon Reyes of Miami, Florida; a niece, Kailey Campbell of New Springfield, Ohio along with many cousins and countless friends whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lisa Valerio. The Valerio family has entrusted Ralph's care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio where calling hours will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 5-7pm and again on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 10-10:45am followed by a funeral service at 11am, officiated by The Very Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw J.C.L., V.G. Ralph will be laid to rest at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville, Ohio. The family would like to send a special "Thank You" to cousins, Renee and Shelly and some special friends, Vicky, Susan, Diane, Charlene, Ginger and Anthony for their love and care given to Ralph during his illness. They were his guardian angels! The Family would also like to thank Hospice of Western Reserve. The family asks for those wishing to honor Ralph's memory; memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Ralph W.
