Richard Lowe Obituary

Obituary For Richard Eugene Lowe Richard Eugene Lowe, 63, beloved in his role as a father, son, brother, grandfather and great grandfather, stepped into eternity on November 26, 2024, just one day shy of his 64th birthday. He entered this world on November 27, 1960, in Kent, OH, born to the union of Mattie B. (Dunn) Degraffenried and Willie B. Lowe. Richard forged a path of self-employment, embodying determination and a strong work ethic. He was known for his kindness and the genuine connections he built within his community in Canton, Ohio. Many will remember Richard not just for his smile, but for the countless moments he shared that brought joy to those around him. Richard loved his family and was steadfast in his support in their endeavors. Each of them carries a piece of Richard's legacy in their hearts, and he will be remembered dearly through their recollection of shared stories and memories. Richard leaves to cherish with fondest memories his beloved daughter Dwana Smith, sister Bell Lowe and brothers Joseph Dunn, Bobby (Marie) Degraffenried, Ralph (Diane) Degraffenreid, Clinton (Tammy) Lowe, Alfred Lowe, Tyrone Lowe, and Anthony Dave. Richard's legacy will continue to radiate through the lives of his granddaughters Shy'Ree Dillworth, Ny'Ree Smith and Zy'Ree Smith, along with grandsons Ty'Ree Smith and Andrew Smith. He will be lovingly remembered by his four great grandchildren and a score of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. As Richard crossed the celestial shore, he was escorted to the ancestral table by his awaiting parents and siblings Yvonne D. Chandler, Mildred Lowe Smalls, Margaret Lowe, James Lowe and Lawrence Lowe, all preceding him into eternity. Richard's journey on this earth may have concluded, but the impact he made in the lives of those who loved him will last forever. Let us gather to remember the wonderful person that Richard was while embracing his mantel of love. In reflecting on his life, we invite all who knew Richard to celebrate his spirit and honor his memory. A public viewing will be held at the J.E.
