Shirley Bays Obituary

Shirley Bays Obituary Shirley Ann Bays, 68, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at the Warren Nursing and Rehab following a long illness. She was born in Warren, Ohio on November 13, 1955 the daughter of Floyd A. and Theresa (Buynak) Gress. Shirley was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked at McMenamy's Banquet Hall for 20 years. For over a year, she helped her daughter at Rosie's Liquidation in Niles. She enjoyed bingo and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Shirley is survived by daughter, Amber Bays of Austintown; two sons, James Pirigyi of Austintown, Daniel Uncapher of Youngstown; daughter-in-law, Tiesha Telego of Warren; five grandchildren Harmony, Serenity, Jayden, Hunter, Briella; three sisters, Helen (John) Cramer of Niles, Virginia White of Warren, Patricia Frank of Niles; two brothers, Vincent McNevin of Indiana, Pennsylvania, William Gress of Weathersfield Twsp. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David McNevin, Frank Gress and three sisters Theresa Harker, Daisy Beall and Rose Marie Gress. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
