Thomas G. "Tom" James Jr.

Thomas "Tom" G. James, 64, of Southington, OH passed away Friday, May 24, 2024. He was born September 6, 1959, in Warren, OH, the son of the late Thomas James, Sr. and Shirley (Gordon) James. Tom graduated from Champion High School, Class of 1978, where he played football and baseball as a Golden Flash. He was a roofer and owner of T&J Roofing and a member of the Labor Union #935. Tom loved riding his Harley Davidson, camping, being in outdoors, and was an avid skier. While Tommo left us way to soon, I know he holds the biggest impact on a lot of our lives. His mission in life was to love and be loved. Explaining him would take a lifetime. A man that would give you the world, if you had everything or; nothing at all. A man who loved life to the fullest and the hardest worker anyone knew. A man of many trades. A life of adventure. Always a great conversation, with many stories to be told. Family was first, but the party was always on. "A young guy with grey hair". He will be missed by many and surely never forgotten! BAM He is survived by his daughter, Brooke Donahue ("T"); sister, Tammy (Craig) Nicholas; brothers, Jesse (Debbie) James, Jonny James, and Mark (Monica) James. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sondra James Pinney; and brother, Donald James. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions be made to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
