Timothy Wilster Obituary

Timothy E. Wilster, 69, of Lake Milton, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late John and Margaret Wilster. Tim graduated from Liberty High School in 1973 and proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Sonar Technician-Submarine Second Class (STS2), where he earned all of his engineering skills. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked as an electrical engineer at Middlefield Cheese. Tim was known for his willingness to help others, whether it was assisting a total stranger stranded on the road or supporting family members and friends in need. He was generous with his time and resources. He will be greatly missed. Tim is survived by the love of his life, Susan (Giampietro) Wilster, with whom he was married for nearly thirty-five years; his sons, Steven (Dakota) Wilster of Maryland, Alex (Kara) Wilster of Ohio, and Brian (Hannah) Wilster of Tennessee; his beloved twin granddaughters, Claire, and Leah; siblings, Jack (Maggie) Wilster, Patrick Wilster, Kathy Constantine, Margie (Mark) Moretti, Barb (Tim) Evans, Jeanne (John) Sokol; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss his presence and cherish his memory. Besides his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, William Constantine. In keeping with Tim's wishes, a private family service was observed.
