Walter Shinosky Obituary

HUBBARD Walter Joseph Shinosky, 70, died Saturday morning August 2, 2025 at his home. He was born August 1, 1955 in Warren, a son of Walter Frank and Mary Scerba Shinosky. Mr. Shinosky, a graduate of Warren Harding High School, was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Walter was the grocery manager at Devine's Shop and Save since 1977. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, motorcycles, baseball and softball. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Devine, whom he married September 23, 1983; two sons, Brendan Shinosky and his husband David Goll of Cleveland and Colin Shinosky and his wife Amanda of Hubbard; a brother, John Shinosky and his wife Kathy of Warren; two brothers-in-law, Jim Devine and Ed Devine and his wife Diane both of Hubbard; three sisters-in-law, Peggy Devine, Nancy Devine and Betsy Devine all of Hubbard. Walter was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Nuskivicz; a sister, Mary Shinosky; a sister-in-law, Patty Devine and a brother-in-law, Dennis Devine. Family and friends may call on Tuesday August 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with The Very Rev. Michael D. Balash and Fr. Gary George, C.Ss.R. concelebrating.
