Dennis was one of the most sincerest and funniest people I knew. As a cousin of Fr. John Gallagher, I met Dennis many years ago. He called me every other monday for years. He was so kind and generous and I will miss him. My deepest Sympathy to you all.

Dear Family,
I drove by the Whitefield School today and saw the sign that said Remember Mr. Cullenberg. I worked with Dennis for many years as his neighbor, the other fifth grade teacher. He was a wonderful teacher, colleague and friend. He brought joy to many kids when he started a game of baseball at recess. He always gave his all. We are privileged to have known him.

My deepest sympathies to the Cullenberg Family during this very difficult time. I have many fond memories of working with Dennis at Whitefield School for 22 years. He made every day interesting and full of surprises. I'm so grateful for the friendship that I shared with him.

In respectful memory of Mr. C, (dedicated Teacher, valued Colleague, and faithful Friend), our sadness is real and will stay a while, but the thankfulness for being in just a small corner of your existence makes each day a little better. You saw "the good" and "the greatness" in every 4th & 5th grader who walked into your classroom. Etched in the memory of many in this community is that you made it a safe, secure, and fun place to learn and grow. A++ in your lesson of life. Well done, Mr. Cullenberg, and thank you.
