Georgette Dyer Obituary

AUBURN -- Georgette C. "Gigi" Dyer, 62, of Sabattus Creek Drive, Lisbon, died Friday, March 24, 2006, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 29, 1943, the daughter of Joseph and Emma Eccles Larochelle. She was married Oct. 10, 1993, to David W. Dyer.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed in local shoe shops as a stitcher. Her last employment, the past year and a half, was as a van driver for Allied Medical Services, which she enjoyed very much.

She was member of the Pastime Club and enjoyed motorcycling, crocheting and knitting.

She is survived by her husband, David, of Lisbon; a daughter, Marie Beaulieu, of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Michel Rancourt and Brian Beaulieu; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Nikolas Rancourt; and a sister, Constance Keep and husband Wesley, of Whitefield.

She was predeceased by a sister, Claudette Larochelle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston. Committal will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.

Those wishing may make donations to the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care, P.O. Box 819, Lewiston, ME 04243-0819.
