My Darling Grandson, this seems so unfair that I sit here and write this to you.I love you so dearly. My heart hurts so bad. I miss you so much. I will have to wait for my time to be called home to see you again. When you and Uncle Rusty will help me walk to the light. I know Uncle Rusty was there to lift you up and walk you to heaven. My love and prayers are with the both of you.

To Josh's family, you don't know me but I managed the football team last year, and I have to say that although Josh's extreme energy sometime wore us all out , he always kept us laughing. He was a special kid, who had a deep passion for sports, and for making people laugh. He was one of my favorite players and I can't imagine coming home from college and not seeing him. Josh, you were crazy but a great kid. RIP buddy (I'm saving a cookie for you).

Dearest Richelle and family, I want to express my deepest heartfelt condolences! No family should suffer such loss in such a short time, especially the loss of a child. Though it has been many many years since I have seen you Richelle, and unfortunately never got to meet Joshua who sounds like he was a wonderful person, please know that you are in my prayers and I can only hope that your pain will ease quickly and your fond memories will last forever!

Take care!

I didn't really know Josh very well, actually I only saw him a few times, well recently. But we saw each other when we were kids. Even though he probably didn't remember me, it still broke my heart to see it end like this. Mallory and I will miss him very much and our thoughts are always going to be with you. At least we all know that he isn't in anymore pain. Aunt Richelle, I miss you and Nathen very much and I will certainly come to see you this summer I love you and I miss you all very much and you have my whole family's greatest sympathy. I love you Josh!!

Much love and far away memories for such a sweet kid. My son Rob is going to miss him very much. He was a good friend to Rob when we lived in Maine and my daughter Ann just can't imagine going to Pittsfield and not finding him there anymore with big, happy smile on his face. It is quite a legacy how many MANY people that Josh touched in so many wonderful ways.

Joshua Sawyer

Wow kiddo, I never expected it to end like this. You were such a great kid and you always made people laugh, no matter what. It wasn't your time to go, I didn't even get to say goodbye. Thank you for all of the fun times we had together hanging out at Lindseys and in P*town, I'll never forget you. You'll forever be in our thoughts. Miss you bub. Love you.
