Kai Hasenstab Obituary
He was born in Waterville on May 15, 2007, to Karl Hasenstab and Elizabeth Doucette.
Affectionately known as "Little Buddy," Kai was a vibrant child made of life, love and happiness. He loved to go sledding in the winter and sailing in the summer. He also enjoyed splashing in the mud, milk and orange juice puddles and running naked whenever possible.
He is survived by his parents; his adoring sister Rose; and many, many extended family, friends and loved ones.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 28, at Poulin Turner Union Hall, 653 Waterville Road on Route 201, Skowhegan, starting at 2 p.m. with a reception following until 4 p.m.
In respect to Kai, please dress casual and children are encouraged to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kai Brouck Hasenstab Memorial Fund, c/o Skowhegan Savings, P.O. Box 250, Skowhegan, ME 04976.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan and Scott's Cremation and Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan ME 04976.

Elizabeth and family,
There are no words to express my sympathy for the devastating loss you must be feeling. Please know I am thinking of you and praying for you all.
Elizabeth, I have never met or known anyone who realized what a joy and gift her children were. The love showed everytime you talked about Rose and Kai. It was so obvious, both you and Karl knew what little treasures you had. My heart goes out to you all.

I was heartbroken to hear of Kai's passing, and no words can describe the depth of pain I feel for your family. My son and I had the privelege of getting to know Kai at Library Toddler Time, and we will miss him deeply.
