Lisa Perry Obituary

1962-2014

Lisa Ann Carey Perry, of Malden, Mass., died peacefully in her sleep on May 21, 2014, following a long illness. Lisa was born in Waterville, Maine, on Sept. 4, 1962, the daughter of Nancy Clement Carey and Maurice "Moe" Carey. She was married to Daniel Perry Jr., of Belfast, Maine, and they had one daughter, Alexandra. Lisa attended schools in Waterville and Augusta, Maine, and Northeastern University in Boston. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist. Lisa was a beloved wife and mother, and homemaker.

She loved life, lobster, concerts, the ocean, her cats, crafts, jewelry making and, of course, her family. She had a wicked good sense of humor and a great laugh.

Lisa was predeceased by her mother, grandmother Irene Clement, grandmother Marguerite "Meg" Carlo, mother-in-law Sharon Perry, aunt Alice B. Hartwell and aunt Gina Carlo.

Lisa is survived by her husband Dan and daughter Alex, of Malden; her father, Maurice "Moe" Carey and his partner, Ruth Rancourt, of Waterville; her brother Craig Carey, also of Waterville; father-in-law Daniel Perry Sr., of Ghent, N.Y., cousin Alice L. Hartwell, of Los Angeles, Calif., uncle Charles Carlo, of Trinity, Texas; uncle Everett "Rhett" Carlo, his wife Katie, and his daughters Hannah and Rachel, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., cousin Claude Fournel and his daughter Kim, of Paris, France; cousin Sandra Perrine and children Teri Beaulieu, Kelly Hill, Shelby Nelson, Dan Beaulieu and James Perrine; uncle Gary Clement, of Norridgewock, Maine; and cousin Wendell Clement, of Winslow, Maine.

There will be a celebration of Lisa's life later this summer at the Wilson Memorial Chapel in Ocean Point, Maine, followed by a gathering at the Ocean Point Casino and the Hartwell cottages. Donations may be made in Lisa's memory to an animal shelter or rescue organization of your choice.
