Michael graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 1981 and held various jobs during his working years, his most fulfilling being his most recent job at Beckett House.
He was a thoughtful and generous man who took pride in his work and his family, especially his daughter, Brianna, whom he had raised from the age of 4 on his own. He was always quick with a smile for everyone he met, a helping hand to those who needed it, and he had a keen sense of humor.
Michael leaves behind his wife, Susan Jamison Bolduc, and her three children, Zachary, Cameron and Alyssa Barnes; his mother, Lynne Barry; his father, Philip Bolduc; his sisters, Lisa Pierce and Trista Barry; two special grandmothers, Elaine Chase and Dena Hubley; his precious daughter, Brianna Lynne Bolduc; three nephews, one niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on June 20 at the American Legion Post 4, 46 Griffin Road, Gardiner, where people may gather to reminisce about this unique and special man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.
Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
